Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Wednesday ordered a major Cabinet revamp, naming Mohammed bin Naif as crown prince and deputy premier.
In a royal decree, King Salman also named Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman as deputy crown prince, second in line to the throne, in addition to his position as minister of defense and president of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs.
Salman said he appointed Naif as heir to the throne after Crown Prince Muqrin requested to be relieved of the position he held since Salman ascended the throne following the death of King Abdullah in January.
Crown Prince Naif retains his position minister of interior and president of the Council of Political and Security Affairs.
Other changes saw veteran Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal stepping down from his post for health reasons but continuing as a cabinet minister as well as becoming adviser to and special envoy of the king and supervisor of foreign affairs.
Adel Al-Jubeir, the current ambassador to the United States, will assume the role of Saudi Arabia's foreign minister.
Saudi Aramco Chief Executive and President Khalid al-Faleh takes over the reins at the Ministry of Health after the previous minister was removed earlier this month.
Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser was relieved as minister of economy and planning and appointed as adviser at the Royal Court with the rank of minister.
Adel Fakeih, who was tasked with increasing the number of Saudis in the Kingdom's workforce, leaves his position as labor minister to become minister of economy and planning.
Deputy labor minister Mofarrej bin Saad Al-Haqbani succeeded Fakeih as labor minister.
Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Essa, erstwhile deputy chief of the Royal Court, was named minister of state and cabinet member as well as member of the Council of Political and Security Affairs.
Prince Mansour bin Muqrin was named adviser to the king with the rank of minister.

 New Delhi: Google's Person Finder service can help people track their missing loved ones after affected by the massive 7.9 earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday in which over 870 people have reportedly been killed.

'Person Finder' is a free tool that was built in response to the January 2010 Haiti earthquake in order to help those affected by the earthquake connect with their loved ones. In 2005, during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, multiple websites created missing person registries, so families and aid workers had to search in multiple places when looking for information.

The application named Person Finder: 2015 Nepal Earthquake contain two boxes- 'I'm looking for someone'; and 'I have information about someone'.

Concerned people can look in for their loved ones by just typing the missing person's name in the box provided with 'I'm looking for someone'.

A person who has an information about someone else, who has been rescued and saved, can share the information through 'I have information about someone'.

Chasing a massive 192 to win, Kings XI got off to a disastrous start by losing Virende Sehwag early but a fifties from Shaun Marsh and David Miller took the Kings XI into the super over.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals posted 191/6 in a bid to maintain their unbeaten run in the Indian Premier League 2015. A sensational 74 from Ajinkya Rahane and a solid 45 from Shane Watson gave Royals a blistering start and the Kings XI were only left to play catch up.

Lancashire allrounder Liam Livingstone has scored what is believed to be a world record 350 runs in a one-day match in England yesterday.

Playing for Nantwitch Town against Caldy in an ECB National Club Championship match at Whitehouse Lane, Livingstone crashed an astonishing 34 fours and 27 sixes from 137 balls - 298 runs coming in boundaries alone.

Livingstone’s unbelievable knock is said to have surpassed the previous record of 334 not out by Nikhilesh Surendran in Hyderabad in 2008. 

Entering the fray at first-drop, the 21-year-old wasted no time in reaching triple figures, blasting 10 fours and nine sixes (94 runs) from 47 deliveries.

Livingstone hit the 200 mark 37 balls later before reaching the rare air of 300 from 123 balls with 31 fours and 22 sixes.

Look away if you're a Caldy bowler

The carnage ended when he was caught for 350 with Nantwich on 3-493, eventually completing their innings on 7-579 from 45 overs.

If Caldy weren’t already dejected, their day only got worse, restricted to 9-79 to lose by a remarkable 500 runs. 

India’s Rohit Sharma owns the highest score in one-day international cricket, a whopping 264 against Sri Lanka in 2014.

NEW DELHI: Mayank Agarwal (68) and Yuvraj Singh (55) helped Delhi Daredevils beat Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets to register their first win of the eighth season of the Indian Premier League at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Wednesday.

Delhi chased down the 166-run target in 19.5 overs, with five wickets to spare.

Anureet Singh took two consecutive wickets (Yuvraj & Mayank) in the penultimate over to make the match very interesting and tight in the end.

Mayank raced to his fifty off just 37 balls to help Delhi snubbed their 11-match losing streak in the IPL. He smacked two sixes and seven fours in his 48-ball blitzkrieg. The Delhi opener also added a match-winning 106 runs stand for the third wicket with Yuvraj.

Mitchell Johnson came to bowl in the 15th over with Delhi at 102/2 requiring a run rate of 10.66. Yuvraj and Agarwal took the bull by its horns, smashing the Australian for 18 runs as Agarwal reached his 50 in the process. Yuvraj, however, wasn’t done as he hammered Axar Patel for two maximums as the target became 31 required off the final 4 overs.
Anureet Singh and Rishi Dhawan were hit for 24 runs in the 17th and 18th over as Delhi looked likely to end their losing streak. The former put some doubts in the Daredevils’ minds as he got both the settled batsmen out in successive deliveries.
However, requiring just 7 runs before the duo got out, the result of the match was more or less sealed. Kedar Jadhav lost his wicket in the final over, but Angelo Mathews scored a boundary to apply the finishing touches to the match.
Delhi had now stopped the rot of 11 consecutive losses and got their first win of the 2015 IPL in their third attempt. The man of the match award went to Delhi Daredevils opener, Mayank Agarwal.
